Shelley Rae has an MA Degree in Art Therapy.  She has spent many years in the Mind/Body connection experience professionally. Creative energy guides her growth as she explores body symptoms as a source of feedback to the next step of learning to break the programs that inhibit our growth. Shelley is an extraordinary living example of deep listening to the body's messages.  She is one of those rare individuals who is quietly walking their talk.  I am grateful for her willingness to come on the show and share her experiences.

Jerry Jampolsky is a medical doctor trained in psychiatry, and Diane Cirincione holds a Ph.D. in clinical psychology. They have lectured for 25 years in 55 countries on Attitudinal Healing and are regarded as seminal in the development of a new psychology based on the transformative nature of attitude.

They have written and co-authored a number of books, including Love Is Letting Go Of Fear, Change Your Mind, Change Your Life, Forgiveness - The Greatest Healer of Them All.

Jerry and Diane are both closely affiliated and consult with the International Center for Attitudinal Healing and have partnered with it in helping more than 130 communities worldwide to establish Attitudinal Healing centers and programs.

Jerry is a child and adult psychiatrist, and a graduate of Stanford University Medical School.  He has authored 14 books on attitude that have sold close to 7 million worldwide.

He is regarded as one of the seminal influences in the development of a new arm of psychology which integrates spiritual principles into a psycho-social approach that shifts the focus of support from a pathological orientation (what's wrong with you) to a transformational orientation (what's powerful in you).

He is the recipient of the prestigious Pride in the Profession Award, given by the American Medical Association to physicians whose careers have advanced the art and science of medicine.  He is also the recipient the Sadat Peace Prize, the Creative Altruism Award of the Institute of Noetic Sciences, and the Martin Luther King Peace Prize.

Love and Other Myths Part III

Beverley will be talking with Ron and Nancy Hawke.

Ron & Nancy Hawke have enjoyed bouncing through life together for 34 years. They spent about half of them merging two families and raising their 5 daughters. They have had the good fortune to travel extensively and immerse themselves into many cultures while enjoying friends throughout the world. Life has provided them with many learning opportunities, all of them enriched by major experiential gifts, the perceptions they continually gain from their family including 8 grandchildren, The Course in Miracles from the start, in 1975 and Marriage Encounter beginning in 1991.

Ron has had a rich career in Experimental Physics. Nancy enjoys singing and has written many inspired songs. They continue to seek insight through people, places and activities, which include, travel, camping in a small RV trailer and flying their little airplane. The Sierra Mountains serves as their home base and hosts many events for friends and family.

Love and Other Myths Part II

Naomi Davine was born to parents whose surnames are Davine and Power and she laughingly says that divine power has been her constant challenge throughout her spiritually committed life. She says she has done only 2 things consistently for the passed 15yrs and considers herself still a student learning the art of both - being 1. a mother and 2. a meditator.

Senior Unity Minister Rev. Max Lafser, with his wife Rama J. Vernon, has worked extensively in the Soviet Union and other countries, resolving conflicts within and across international borders.

Over the years, they co-designed an extensive curriculum for Conflict Resolution and Peace Studies using east-west psychology as a basis for international non-violence training.

Susyn is a great lemonade maker, fun grandmother and the co-creator, with Dr. Sheri Rosenthal, of WITH Forgiveness, an international multimedia project designed to illuminate the path and provide the tools to embody compassion and unconditional love for all beings in service of peace.

With more than thirty years of professional experience as an Organization Development Consultant, Executive Coach, InterFaith Minister, Inspirational Speaker, Master Teacher, Author and Lover of Life, Susyn's clients have included: New York University, Mount Sinai Medical Center, Exxon, Continental Airlines, The Metropolitan Museum of Art and The Plaza Hotel.

Her award winning first book, Choose Peace & Happiness was her response to the events of 9/11.

Rama J. Vernon, Founder of the Center for International Dialogue has traveled to the former Soviet Union 47 times organizing counterpart meetings, exchange programs, events and conferences. She initiated the First and Second Soviet-American Citizens Summits as well as the first Conflict Resolution and Dialogue Roundtables between Armenia and Azerbaijan, Georgia and the Ukraine.

Founder of six successful non-profit organizations including the magazine "Yoga Journal", Ms Vernon, the mother of five children is the recipient of the 1991 Inside Edge Foundation World Peace Award, the Evart T. Loomis World Peace Award as well as Outstanding Achievement Awards from South America, India and the former USSR.

I earned two college degrees so long ago there's not a thing I can remember. My real learning began while working as a therapist for about every form of bodily and mental 'imperfection' that can be experienced by children. That was back in the days when they were all 'lumped' together with various diagnosis/identity attached to them so 'we professionals' could pretend we knew what was going on in their psyche.

I learned how this synthetic identity affected their perception of the world. My goal was to have them express their true spirit. We played a lot because they had forgotten how to laugh. Using Gestalt techniques taught by Fritz Perls, I discovered in a more graphic way, the hidden aspects that drive experience. That's when I really began to understand the concept of projection of our unconscious.

As a result of what I learned from these children, plus being profoundly curious about life, I compiled my writings of many years into a book called Grains of Sand. It was completed in 1975. The book has 36 pages of very large type saying, 'we come here wanting love forgetting we are love'.

In 1973, I met Jerry Jampolsky and Judy Skutch. In 1975 Judy brought a set of books called A Course in Miracles to the Bay Area where I was living. Helen, Bill and Ken soon followed to begin introducing the Course in the area. No one knew, especially Helen and Bill, that this was the beginning of a world wide phenomenon. Having met and observed this small group who had incredible integrity, any concerns I had about the validity of what had been written, vanished.
