Difficult Economic Times

So many people are having financial struggles these days and judging their self-worth by whether they can pay the bills or not.

I wrote for a very special friend in 2008 who was having severe financial struggles. It still applies to everyone in this world!

Help Haiti Now!

As many of you know, a catastrophic earthquake has hit the island of Haiti, killing what may turn out to be hundreds of thousands of people and putting Port-Au-Prince, that nation's capital, in ruins. There are three million people who are desperate for help - for food, water, medical supplies, doctors, sanitation facilities...and much more.

There are possibly thousands of people, including children, still trapped under the rubble - many are already dead but a number are still alive.

Relief agencies and USAID are arriving, and support is urgently needed.  The Miami Herald published an excellent list of relief organizations, with links to access them - so you can make a donation or offer other support.  Here's that link:

Please open your Heart and donate or give now.  Haiti is a nation mired in chronic poverty, and this earthquake was the last thing these people needed.  They are desperate.

This CNN video features a young girl with incredible drawing talent. She is a self-taught artist whose inspiration comes from above. Her artwork is amazing and so moving to see.

She recently started playing the piano and is now writing her own music.

She is a gift from Heaven.
