HAPPY BIRTHDAY DANIEL!

Happy Birthday Daniel!

Oct. 13, 2009:

I wanted to do something different today on my birthday.

Usually we look forward to receiving gifts.  This year I want to give thanks for all the wonderful gifts so many special people, spirits and angels have given me during my life.

Let me first say thank you for all those of you who offered prayers and healing while I was in the hospital this year. I know you were worried since the doctors said I had only a 20% chance of living.  At the hospital, I felt so much love and energy from all of you.  I never doubted as my eyes closed that I would come out healthier and happier.  I knew I wouldn't pass over, because I still have so much to do in this lifetime.

I am grateful for this gift of continued life and promise to continue to be of service to people, animals and Mother Earth.  Join me in believing that we can heal the hearts of those who hurt one another in war - that we can heal the hearts of those who are filled with greed.  Those who believe the only path to success is through the accumulation of money and destroying their competition.

Thank you to all the special friends who have filled my life with such love, caring and fun.  I considered writing down the first names of everyone who has given me the gift of their friendship through these 59 years of life.  Happily this list would be too long.  And … I wouldn't want to forget anyone. The last thing I would want to do is hurt someone's feelings.

Being very fortunate I know what my Purpose In Life is.  It is the creation and continuing evolution of Sedona Talk Radio.  We are not just a station focused on Sedona, we are a spiritual portal that reaches all over the world. We invite those of you who have a message to share with the world, to join us.  We have talks shows hosted by people throughout the United States and even from Europe.
Daniel Stief

It is my continuing dream and mission to have Sedona Talk Radio reaching even more than the 110 countries that have found us so far.

We want to reach the entire world, spreading Peace, Love and Happiness.

So Happy Birthday World!  Thank you for all the gifts!

Violinist survives Near-Fatal accident

Hurray for NBC to have aired such an inspiring story.

So many of us on Planet Earth have had a near death experience, where they were given a choice to pass over, and chose to stay.

It happened to me this year when I was in the hospital.  I was asked if I would like to pass over. I would have loved to go home to the peace and love of the heavenly relms, but I knew I still had something important to do.  Be a Spiritual Warrior!  Have the strength to carry on.  Make a difference in the world!

Peace,

Daniel

Stress - I don't have Stress ....

Hi!

I don't always read every email that gets forwarded to me.   But the one I got today - caught my attention.

Let me explain why.

Recently while I was at the hospital doing my cardiac rehab (exercising with a heart monitor) I was invited to attend a class on Stress Management.  It was free and everything was so simple - just show up.

SuperDanielBut I - in my Superman-like style said:

"I don't have a lot of stress in my life!  And that I have - I manage so well.

So - No Thanks"

As I left that day I heard the little voice in my head saying - "Is that so!??  Maybe you have more stress than you realize."

Yesterday I got it!

I realized that I have been pushing myself too hard - AGAIN! I tend to do that.

When I do - I become less happy and life is less pleasant.

Lately I have noticed how much my life is directed by being the "Good Little Boy" which means following all the rules.  The trap for me is that all those things that I tell myself - that have to be done! - or should have been done! -  become rules - a never ending series of "not measuring up".  Woe is me!

I realized that once again - I was caught in the trap! - of running like a hamster in a cage - never getting anywhere. Trying to be the "Good Little Boy" and "Measuring Up!"

Even though this message hadn't totally sunk in - last night I slept good, which I haven't been doing.

Today I am not being driven by all of that and life seems once again more beautiful.  And all because I stepped off the spinning wheel - the trap of all those things that must be done.

Life is so much simpler here in the Sedona area.  No wonder I was so driven when in the chaos of big cities and corporate america.

Isn't it amazing how the Angels send us little messages and if we miss them - they send another message in another way.

So I said: "Thanks angels - for the messages.  I got it."  Innocent

But just in case - to make sure I was really listening - the email below - about stress - arrived in my inbox.  Sent by my good friend - Reverend Joel Boyd!

Coincidence - I don't think so!  Gotta Love those Angels Laughing

May this give you an insight into the stress in your life.

Peace, Love and Happiness,

Daniel

Stress

A lecturer when explaining stress management to an audience, raised a glass of water and asked
'How heavy is this glass of water?'

Answers called out ranged from 20g to 500g.

The lecturer replied, 'The absolute weight doesn't matter.
It depends on how long you try to hold it.
If I hold it for a minute, that's not a problem.
If I hold it for an hour, I'll have an ache in my right arm.
If I hold it for a day, you'll have to call an ambulance.
In each case, it's the same weight, but the longer I hold it, the heavier it becomes.'

He continued,
'And that's the way it is with stress management.
If we carry our burdens all the time, sooner or later,
As the burden becomes increasingly heavy,
We won't be able to carry on. '

'As with the glass of water,
You have to put it down for a while and rest before holding it again.

When we're refreshed, we can carry on with the burden.'
'So, before you return home tonight, put the burden of work down. Don't carry it home. You can pick it up tomorrow.

Whatever burdens you're carrying now,
Let them down for a moment if you can.'
So, my friend, Put down anything that may be a burden to you right now. Don't pick it up again until after you've rested a while.

Here are some great ways of dealing with the burdens of life:

* Accept that some days you're the pigeon,
And some days you're the statue.

* Always keep your words soft and sweet,
Just in case you have to eat them.

* Always wear stuff that will make you look good
If you die in the middle of it.

* Drive carefully. It's not only cars that can be
"Recalled" by their maker.

* If you can't be kind, at least have the decency to be vague.

* If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again,
It was probably worth it.

* It may be that your sole purpose in life is simply to be kind to others.

* Never put both feet in your mouth at the same time,
Because then you won't have a leg to stand on.

* Nobody cares if you can't dance well.
Just get up and dance.

* Since it's the early worm that gets eaten by the bird, sleep late.

* The second mouse gets the cheese.

* When everything's coming your way,
You're in the wrong lane.

* Birthdays are good for you.
The more you have, the longer you live.

* You may be only one person in the world,
But you may also be the world to one person.

* Some mistakes are too much fun to only make once.

* We could learn a lot from crayons... Some are sharp, some are pretty and some are dull. Some have weird names, and all are different colors, but they all have to live in the same box.

*A truly happy person is one who can enjoy the scenery on a detour.

Have an awesome day and know that someone has thought about you today .
