FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Sedona, AZ Internet Radio Show Attracts Worldwide "Neighbors"
It's a story about friendship, and a mutual desire to create something fun and inspiring for people who are waiting for the economy to turn around.
Daniel Stief, Owner and Creator of Sedona Talk Radio, and Summer Bacon, a popular local spiritual teacher and medium, put their heads together one day while talking on the telephone. "We love to talk about life, God, and Spirit, and especially love to talk about food and share recipes," Stief said. "We laugh a lot too, and one day we realized that our telephone conversations would make good material for a morning talk show. So, we decided to start one."

That was the birth of "Good Morning from Sedona Talk Radio, with Host Dani-el and Co-Host Summy B" which broadcasts live every Thursday morning at 9am MST. (Visit www.sedonatalkradio.com and click on "Talk Shows" to listen in.) What started out as "something fun to do," is already attracting listeners from around the world. "By our second show we had a woman calling in from New Orleans, listeners in California, Australia, and one person in our online live chatroom who was writing to us from India!" Bacon said, "We were flabbergasted, and it made us realize how very small the world really is. That's when Daniel started calling our listeners 'neighbors,' just like in Mr. Rogers Neighborhood. You know, 'won't you be our neighbor?' The idea of creating an international neighborhood makes us and our listeners feel so connected. It's absolutely beautiful."
So, what is the attraction of their radio show? Stief and Bacon, who are both spiritual mediums, offer an eclectic mix of discussion topics ranging from spirits and alien encounters, to the sharing of recipes, weather reports, and personal recommendations about local events, restaurants and retail outlets. "We're both pretty down to earth people, and we really enjoy demystifying mysticism for people. We believe that spirituality is a way of life, not just something set aside for Sundays or group mediations. And we really just enjoy chatting and joking about everyday topics and cooking," Stief said, "Neither one of us is vegetarian, and we love good down home cooking as well as a wide range of exotic meals, so when we get talking about food, get ready to grab a pen and notepad and write down the ideas."
"I guess you could say that food is like a spiritual experience for us," Bacon laughed.
And, so what's with their names "Dani-el" and "Summy B?" "Well, I once owned a retail store in the Village of Oak Creek called Mystic Moon. An Angel Reader who worked there, and became a friend of mine, told me that instead of my name being spelled Daniel, it should be spelled 'Dani-el,' because she said I'm an angel and all the angel names end with 'el,' as in 'Archangel Micha-el,'" Daniel explained, "Summer's name 'Summy B' comes from her childhood nickname 'Summy' and 'B' is, of course, for 'Bacon.'"
Stief and Bacon met in Sedona and have been friends for nearly a decade. Stief is also a webmaster and maintains Bacon's website www.summerbacon.com, www.sedonatalkradio.com, and www.sedonatalkradiocommunity.com, among many other websites.
Enjoy “lightening up, just a little bit more” every Thursday on the internet as you listen to Dani-el and Summy-B share thoughts, stories, humor, and beautiful perspectives about life on “this school called planet earth.” Feel free to call in to the show with any questions or comments, or log on to “chat” with the hosts online during the show. Don't worry if you've missed a show, they are all archived on www.sedonatalkradio.com and you can also subscribe to the show via iTunes.
